Narrator [00:00:02]: Here's a bit about what to expect at our Kōrero Mahi work seminars. These seminars are to support you to get ready for work. They are held at your local Work and Income service centre.

[Man smiles and raises his hand in a wave. The same man stands in a seminar room next to a 'Work and Income' sign and talks to a group of clients. A presentation slide reads 'Welcome to Kōrero Mahi. Let's talk work'. The text 'Kōrero Mahi - Work Seminars' appears on the screen.

Narrator [00:00:13]: At the seminar, we'll tell you about what you have to do while you're getting a benefit, explain how we can help you get ready for work and show you were you can look for jobs.

[Man talks to clients in a seminar room. A woman sits in a Work and Income office holding a sheet of paper and talking to someone. A laptop with the 'Kimi Mahi Mai Find a Job' website open appears.]

Narrator [00:00:24]: We'll also chat with you one-on-one about what kind of work you can do and what you might need to do to get a job.

[The words 'Plan your next steps' with '1', '2' and '3' in circles appear on the screen. A mouse pointer clicks on each circle.]

Man: Are you wondering if you have to go to a seminar?

[Man points into the camera.]

Narrator [00:00"42]: If you have to look for or prepare for work to meet your benefit obligations, then you'll need to come to a Kōrero Mahi seminar.

[Man in a Work and Income office smiles and waves.]

[Woman sits at a desk in a Work and Income office and talks to someone. The screen transitions to an outline of a cellphone with the words 'Kōrero Mahi seminar' and a notification email]

Man: And just know that we are here to help you along the way.

[Man sits at a table in an office. The MSD logo, Work and Income logo and URL 'www.workandincome.govt.nz' appear on the screen.]

What happens if you don't go to the seminar
