Narrator [0:00] At Work and Income, we're here to help people find work and help businesses find the right people.
[The words “Hire your employees with us” next to man smiling and waving at the screen. A collage of photos of people working various jobs, and ticks across the screen.]
Narrator [0:07] When you list a job with us, we make sure the right candidates see it on our MyMSD Jobs website. We'll sometimes also list roles in our service centres or on our social media channels.
[A cellphone showing job listings in MyMSD jobs website, with cartoon eyes looking at them. And illustration of a service centre building and a cellphone with and a social media post about an advert for a new chef.]
Narrator [0:19] Our talent pool is large and diverse. From motivated, eager people who are ready to learn to experienced and skilled professionals.
[Photos of people working move across the screen showing different types of workplaces and jobs.]
Narrator [0:25] Here's how it works. Go to the MyMSD Jobs website and fill in the online form to list your vacancy.
[The words ‘Here’s how it works’ appear on screen. A laptop shows the homepage of the MyMSD Jobs website, and a cursor clicks the “Get started’ button. An illustration of a job vacancy shows a job summary and responsibilities, and a cursor clicks a “Submit” button. A photo of a smiling MSD staff member appears above the words “Reviewing…”]
Narrator [0:34] Before your vacancy goes live, one of our staff will review it. Once it's approved and published on our website, we'll send you a confirmation email. This usually takes one business day.
[The words “Approved” and “Published on website” appear with tickboxes next to them, and the cursor tick each box. A laptop appears with a list of emails in front of it, the top email subject line reads “MSD – Work and Income – MSD reviewing applications”.
Narrator [0:45] If there's any important information missing, we'll contact you before your listing goes live.
[An illustration of a job listing appears, with a pink box to indicate missing information]
Narrator [0:50] Then we use our smart matching tool to scan New Zealand's largest talent pool of job seekers to find candidates with the skills, experience, and qualifications that match your job requirements.
[An illustration of a map of New Zealand, with photos of people in different job types across the country. The photos move across the screen to a vertical bar labelled “Scan”, and some pass through the bar, where they go under an illustrated magnifying glass. A checklist appears with the words “Skills”, “Experience” and “Qualifications”, and a cursor ticks all three.]
Narrator [1:03] The most suitable candidates who apply for your role are shortlisted for you to review along with their CVs. You pick who to meet and interview.
[A candidate shortlist appears with illustrations of each candidates profile, with their photos and a link to their CVS. A cursor selects one of the profiles.]
Narrator [1:11] Once you hire someone, we may be able to help them settle in with extra support or training. We can talk to you about what's available.
[The word “Hired” appears across the screen. A man presenting in a meeting room poins to a screen, with the words “Extra support or training” on screen. 2 people in a meeting talk while sitting at desks, smiling and nodding their heads, with the words “We’ll let you know what’s available” on screen.]
Narrator [1:17] Go to the MyMSD Jobs website to get started and list your job vacancy with us today.
[The homepage of the MyMSD Jobs website appears, and the cursor clicks “Get started” to take them to the “Grow your team with the right talent” page.]
