Manage your supplier details

Once you're registered as a supplier, you can manage your supplier details or cancel your registration.

You need to let us know when your business details change, e.g. your:

  • bank account
  • legal name
  • address, or
  • phone number. 

You also need to let us know if you:

  • want to become a Money Management supplier or don't want to be one any more, or
  • want to accept the Youth Service payment card (if you don't already) or don't want to accept this any more.
Information

Money Management

We'll be emailing MSD-registered suppliers of essential goods and services for Money Management in the week of 19 May. Your business will be automatically included if you provide groceries, transport, education or health-related items.

You'll be able to opt-out if you prefer.

Complete the following steps to change any of your business details.

Step 1 - Fill out the form

Print and fill out the following form:

Step 2 - Gather your supporting documents

We need:

  • proof of your bank account or building society account, which shows your:
    • account name
    • account number, and
    • bank logo
  • an EFTPOS printout (if you have EFTPOS) confirming your EFTPOS Merchant ID number.

If you're a homeowner, property manager, or head tenant, there are other documents you need as well.

Homeowners

You also need to provide these supporting documents:

  • land and water rates bills
  • mortgage documents
  • trust deeds (if property is owned or managed by a trust)
  • photo ID for the homeowner completing the Supplier registration, as is written on the land and water rates bills and mortgage details
  • a written contract of authority if someone is acting on behalf of a homeowner. This includes contact details and photo ID for the homeowner(s) and the person acting their behalf.

Property managers

You also need to provide these supporting documents:

  • a contract between the property management company and the homeowner(s)
  • photo ID for the property manager and the homeowner(s).

Head tenants

You also need to provide these supporting documents:

  • tenancy agreements between the head tenant and the homeowner(s)
  • photo ID for the head tenant and the homeowner(s).

Step 3 - Get the form and documents to us

To email your supporting documents, scan or take a photo and send them to cpu_suppliers@msd.govt.nz.

You can also:

  • drop them off to a local service centre, or
  • post them to:

To opt in or opt out of being a Money Management supplier, you need to fill out the 'Money Management supplier - opt-in/opt-out' form. You can also tell us if you want to accept the Youth Service payment card or don't want to accept this any more.

Once you've submitted the form, we'll update your details.

You'll still be registered to receive other payments from us on behalf of our clients.

Money Management supplier - opt-in/opt-out form

If you no longer want to be registered as a supplier you can email us cpu_suppliers@msd.govt.nz.

You’ll need to provide your trading name and supplier number (it starts with the letters 'CUR').
