  Activity in the Community projects help people gain voluntary, unpaid experience in a community or voluntary organisation. We can offer support and advice to your project and introduce you to the right people.

  Clients who are getting Job or Training Support Funds may also need a support person or job coach, to help them while they're at work or training.

• Employment Service in Schools - Information for schools and providers

  Employment Service in Schools is a pilot service, run by the Ministry of Social Development and the Ministry of Education. The service is delivered by providers based in Otago-Southland, Canterbury, Wellington, Waikato, and parts of Auckland. Schools and providers in these areas who offer this service can find information on how they'll support students getting this service.

• He Poutama Rangatahi - Youth Employment Pathways

  He Poutama Rangatahi is a work-readiness and skills initiative. It's for young people who are hard to reach and most at risk of long-term unemployment.

• Mainstream programmes - information for Employment Service providers

  Our Mainstream programmes help people with a disability or health condition, including mental health and neurodiversity into work. As a contracted Employment Service provider, you'll work with the client and employer to find a suitable role for them and provide ongoing support.

  If you can deliver an industry-related training course for Work and Income job seekers, we may be able to assist with funding.
