Warrants to Arrest payment error

We've found an error where some people's benefits were stopped or reduced too early when they had a Warrant to Arrest. This means we owe some people money.

Who's affected by this error

You may be affected if:

  • you had an arrest warrant before July 2016, and
  • your payments were stopped or reduced because of this.

If we owe you money

We're contacting and paying all our current clients.

We aren't currently making payments to former clients affected by this error. We want to make sure these payments won't affect other payments people may be getting, eg Working for Families.
