Income rules for Disability Allowance
If you're getting Disability Allowance you have to declare any income you get, and some one-off payments. You don't have to tell us about any assets you have unless you can use them to create income.
How it works
If you get Disability Allowance you have to tell us about any income you get and some one-off payments. You don't have to tell us about any assets you have unless you can use them to create income, for example, a holiday home.
Exceptions
However, if you also get any of the extra help below you have to tell us about any income, one-off payments and any assets you have:
- Accommodation Supplement
- Temporary Additional Support
- Special Benefit.
