How to tell us

Before you start

If you’re only changing the last 2 numbers of your account (the suffix), call us. We'll update this over the phone.

Step 1 - Get proof of your account

First you need to get proof of your new bank account number. This could be a:

  • bank statement
  • bank print-out stamped by the bank
  • letter from the bank
  • print-out from an ATM
  • print-out of your internet banking which shows the web address, or
  • photo or screenshot of your online banking.

Bank account evidence must show the:

  • bank logo
  • bank account number (does not have to show suffix), and
  • account name(s).

Step 2 - Tell us about the change

You can either:

  • upload your document to MyMSD (you need to call us on 0800 559 009 first), or
  • complete the Change of bank account form. You can drop this and your evidence into, or post it to, your nearest service centre
