When you apply for a benefit, we may ask you to complete a work profile so we can help you find a job.
You'll need to fill out a profile when you've told us that you're available and looking for work. If you have a partner, they may also need to complete one.
You need to complete and submit your profile before you go to your application appointment, otherwise your application could take longer to be processed.
MyMSD will let you know if you need to complete one - it will be listed in your next steps. If you don't have MyMSD, we'll help you fill out the profile at your application appointment.
Complete a profile in MyMSD
You can fill out a profile in MyMSD under Current applications. If you've done one before, we'll pre-fill some of your details.
You'll need to answer questions about your:
- work experience (including work history)
- skills and qualifications, including:
- education qualifications
- languages you speak
- driver license details.
We'll also ask you:
- where you want to work
- what type of work you're looking for
- when you can work (eg, part-time, full-time, weekends).
