Support once your employee starts work

Once your new staff member starts work, we can offer ongoing post-placement support and advice to help you manage any challenges that come up.

Note

If your employee needs support and advice, eg with income support or budgeting, they may be able to get in-work support.

In-Work Support

Starting a new job can be a challenge for anyone and pastoral support can help. We really want our candidates to successfully transition into your team and build a better future for themselves and their families.

Who can get it

You can get support from us if you've employed one of our candidates.

How we can help

We can help by providing information, advice and guidance to manage any challenges that may come up in the workplace, and work with you and your employee to come up with a solution.

If we can't help, we'll refer you to another agency who may be able to, eg Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment (MBIE).

If your employee has a disability or health condition, there are a number of ways we can help.
