Public transport fares
You can get a 50% discount on single-trip adult fares on public transport if you have a Community Services Card. This discount is part of the Community Connect programme.

Get a driver licence
We have providers across New Zealand who can help you get your driver licence. They can help you with things like:
- studying for the learner licence test
- professional driving lessons for the restricted or full licence test
- paying the test fees
- using one of their vehicles to take the test in.
Fixing or modifying your car
We may be able to help pay for some car repairs if your income and assets are under a certain limit.
If you have a serious disability and need help to buy or modify a car or other vehicle, you may be able to get Vehicle Modification Funding.
