Declare your income
You need to tell us as soon as possible if you've received any income. This will ensure that you get paid correctly. You should declare your income online in the same week you received it. You can still declare your income after the week you worked but it may mean that we underpay or overpay you.
If you receive a benefit and are working, Inland Revenue will share your employment information with us. If you think the information we have about you might be wrong, put it right now. It remains your responsibility to tell us about any changes to your income.
If you've found permanent full time employment, advise us through My Account - Stop My Payment or call us. We'll update our records and advise you if you're eligible for any extra assistance while you’re in work.
