How to register for MyMSD

If you don't have a MyMSD, you can easily set one up. Follow the instructions below.

You'll need your:

• client number
• date of birth.

What you need to do

1. Go to my.msd.govt.nz
2. Select 'Register for MyMSD'.
3. Enter your client number and date of birth.

You can choose to select 'Make PIN-only login available on this device'. This means that if you log into MyMSD on a new device or computer, it will remember your details so next time you just need to enter your PIN to login.

4. Agree to the MSD Terms of Use and privacy policy
5. Select 'Next'.
6. Enter the 6 digit code we send to your mobile phone.

You can choose to select 'Remember this device'. This means if you log into MyMSD again on this device, you won't be asked to enter another 6 digit code."

7. Select 'Next'.
8. Enter a 4 digit PIN of your choice.
9. Re-enter your PIN and select 'Next'.

We'll check we have the correct email address for you. If it's:

• correct, select 'Confirm'.
• changed, select 'My email has changed' and enter your correct email address.
