Oversupply list

If you want to hire a migrant, you need to check if the role you're filling has an oversupply of New Zealand job seekers.

Check the oversupply list

  1. Select the industry (below) that your role is in.

Role is oversupplied

We will not issue Skills Match Reports for roles that are oversupplied.

If you want to hire a migrant, you can still submit a work visa application. Immigration New Zealand will consider the oversupply of NZ jobseekers when assessing the application.

If you want to hire a New Zealand candidate, we offer a no-fee recruitment service that you can use.

Role is not oversupplied

If your role is not listed, there's not an oversupply.

Go to our 'Hiring a migrant worker' page to find out if you need a Skills Match Report to support a work visa application.
