Employers On-Line: Login and User Details
How to log in to Employers On-Line.
Directions for logging in to Employers On-Line
Enter your Email address and Password to login.
If you have forgotten your password, select the 'Forgotten your password?' link on the login screen, which will display the following page:
On this screen, enter your email address and the characters shown in the picture and select the 'Submit' button (Note: if the picture is too hard to read, select the refresh symbol to display a new one or select the speaker symbol for an audio version).
A message will be sent to your email address with a link to reset your password and the following screen will display:
Account Locked or Account Not Active
When logging in, an error message is displayed that says "Account not active" or "Account locked".
You will need to contact the administrator for your business to activate or unlock your account. If you are the only person in your business with administrator access, please call Work and Income's Employer Line on 0800 778008.
An account becomes locked when you have entered the wrong password 5 or more times. If you have forgotten your password, it may pay to reset this when the account is enabled.
The Home page
After logging in, the Home page will be displayed. From the Home page you can do the following actions:
The "Home" link will return you to the Home Page from any page in the system.
The "Candidate Searches" link will take you to the Candidate Searches for your organisation.
The "Users" link will take you to the Users Page for your organisation which allows you to change your own details. People with administration access can also change the details of others in their organisation from the "Users" page.
Click the "Help" link if you get stuck when using the system.
The "Logout" link will log you out of the system.
Create a new search by clicking on the "Add Search" link.
The "View" link in the row labelled 'Searches where no matches have been found after 30 days' takes you to your open, or current, searches that have had no matches after 30 days.
The "View" link in the row labelled "Open searches with no matches" takes you to your open, or current, searches that have had no matches.
The "View" link in the row labelled "Searches open for more than 30 days" takes you to your open, or current, searches that have been open for 30 days or more.
The "Open" link will take you to the searches that are currently running for your organisation.
The "Cancelled" link will take you to the cancelled, searches for your organisation. Searches can be cancelled by Work and Income only.
The "Closed" link will take you to the closed searches for your organisation. Searches may be closed after they have been open for more than 6 weeks, when a candidate is hired, or they may be manually closed.
Change your details
To change your details, select the 'Users' link from the top or bottom of your homepage. The 'Users' screen will display:
Select the 'Edit' link to the right of the user details. The 'Edit User' screen will display, update any of the details that need to be changed and select the 'Save' button.
To change your password, select the 'Change Password' link alongside 'Password' from the 'Edit User' screen shown above.
The new password must be at least 7 characters in length and contain characters from at least 3 of the following categories:
- upper case letters (e.g. ABC)
- lower case letters (e.g. abc)
- numbers (e.g. 123)
- punctuation and special characters (e.g. @$%).
