Youth Service Payment Card
As part of money management, you will be issued a payment card. Some of your payment will be put on your payment card, along with some forms of extra help. See the money management page for more information.
What is a payment card?
Payment cards, which look like EFTPOS cards, are issued with a cash balance on them so you can use part of your payment for food and groceries.
There may be some instances where you will be issued a hologrammed voucher, such as:
- local retailers don't have EFTPOS terminals
- you are unable to use a Payment Card
- when the EFTPOS network or our internal systems are down
- in a declared state of emergency.
If you have any additional questions or need more information contact your Youth Service provider if you have one, otherwise contact us.
If you call us, say ‘Payment Card’ when you are asked to say why you’re calling.
