Change your bank account in My Account
You can log in anytime to My Account to change your bank account details.
You'll need to tell us as soon as possible if you've changed your bank account to ensure you get paid. You need to allow five working days for the change to take effect.
Please don't close your old bank account until you have received a payment from us into the new bank account.
If you've already closed your old bank account and don't receive a payment from us that you're expecting, please contact us.
If you receive New Zealand Superannuation or Veteran's Pension
If you also currently receive payments to an account held outside New Zealand or want your payments to go to a bank account in another country, please contact Senior Services on 0800 552 002.
If you receive the Youth Payment or Young Parent Payment
Make sure you also contact your Youth Service provider directly to tell them about your change in circumstances.
