Introduction
House Modification Funding is paid by a Ministry of Health contracted provider and provides funding for people with serious disabilities to enable them to have essential alterations made to their home to meet their specific needs.
Work and Income administer the income and asset test.
A client does not have to be receiving a main benefit to qualify for House Modification Funding.
