Work for You seminar
When you apply for unemployment-related benefits, you first need to attend a Work for You seminar. It’s an hour long, group employment seminar where you’ll be provided with information about:
- the importance of looking for work
- job searching tips
- our employment services
- your local labour market
- any current vacancies
- work obligations
- financial assistance while you look for work.
You’ll also be advised what your next steps are if you’re applying for financial assistance.
