Employers On-Line information for clients
We’re introducing a new service that allows employers to search for job candidates from our website.
What is the Employers On-Line service?
The Employers On-Line service allows registered employers to search our database to find suitable candidates to fill job vacancies. Employers can specify the type of person they are looking for by entering the requirements for the job vacancy, and candidates that meet those requirements will be found in the search results. Employers are able to view the CV that we hold for the candidates and may choose to contact them directly to discuss the job vacancy.
Where does the CV come from?
A CV is created by our staff when you register with us as a job seeker. People on certain benefits, such as the Unemployment Benefit, are required to be registered with us as a job seeker, and others may choose to register as well.
So when you register as a job seeker, it is important that you give us as much information about your work history as possible, in order to give you a better chance of being matched to jobs.
How will employers contact job candidates?
The employer chooses which candidates they want to speak to and requests we contact them. We then automatically send an email or text message to the candidates to ask them to contact the employer.
It is important that we have the correct email address and cell phone number for you, and that you check your emails and text messages regularly, or you could miss out on job opportunities.
What information will employers be able to see about job candidates?
The employer will be able to view:
- The region, nearest urban area, town/city and suburb in which the candidate lives.
- The locations in which the candidate is willing to work.
- The hours that the candidate is available to work (eg full time, part time, shift work).
- The jobs that the candidate has worked in previously.
- The type of drivers licence held by the candidate, if any.
- The tools and technology that the candidate has used.
- The education level that the candidate has achieved.
The employer will not be able to view:
- The candidate’s name.
- The candidate’s contact details.
- Any information about financial assistance paid to the candidate.
