We’ll support you while you’re not able to work and help you realise your work goals. When it’s right for you and your family, we can help you find part-time or full-time work, get training, or become self-employed.
Help with living expenses
If you’re not able to work, or are working fewer hours because you’re sick, injured, disabled or pregnant, we may be able to help you with living costs.
If you’re struggling to support yourself or your family, please contact us. We can often help.
Assistance when you aren’t currently working, or are working less hours, because you’re sick, injured, disabled or pregnant.
Assistance when you can’t work because of a more permanent sickness, injury or disability.

If you’re disabled or ill we may be able to help you with some medical or related costs.
An allowance which helps you with regular, ongoing costs because of a disability, such as visits to the doctor or hospital, medicines, extra clothing or travel.
If you're an amputee, or were born without a limb(s), we may be able to help you with travel and/or accommodation costs if you need to go to an Artificial Limb Centre.
A card that can help you and your family with the costs of health care. You'll pay less on some health services and prescriptions.

We may be able to help you with the cost of accommodation, residential care, or making changes to your home. If you’re in a residential treatment programme we may be able to help you with some ongoing costs.
