Help with funeral expenses
A Funeral Grant can help with some of the funeral costs of someone close to you who has died.
There are a number of special allowances and grants for veterans and their relatives.

We can grant you the financial assistance you’re entitled to from the date you first contact us if you complete your application within 20 working days of that date.
Family members of war veterans
If the deceased was a war veteran you may be entitled to special pensions or benefits.
For people whose spouse or partner has died from disabilities caused by a war or other emergency they served in.
Children of Veterans may be able to get the children's pensions, War Orphan's Pension or war bursaries.
