Work'n it Out

Work’n it Out is a collection of transition services for young people in Otago, Southland and South Canterbury aged between 15 and 19 years.

It’s about supporting you to find your own pathway, whether through work, an apprenticeship or study. That might mean one-on-one mentoring, careers advice, job search skills, workplace support, linking onto a short course or going into longer-term training.

Work’n it Out Youth Co-ordinators are based in Timaru, Dunedin and Invercargill, and Work’n it Out services are available throughout the Southern region (Stewart Island to the Rangitata river).

Work’n it Out  has a Contact Centre who phones you every six months (or more) until you turn 20. If you’re working or studying and things are going well, its just a quick catch up call or txt to check your current details. But if you need some help or support, we are the ones who refer you to the Youth Co-ordinators.
