Health and disability related benefits

A person’s health or disability is one of the things that determine whether they can get some types of assistance from Work and Income.

If a health or disability practitioner feels that a person may be able to get assistance, they should refer them to their local Work and Income service centre as soon as possible.

It’s important to remember that Work and Income decide a person’s eligibility for Work and Income administered assistance.
