Enterprising Communities Grant: Managing your grant

Proper management of your Enterprising Communities grant will help your organisation meet its goals.

We offer support and advice to help your project succeed. These grants help community organisations design and implement projects that create skills and job opportunities for people who are finding it hard to get work.

Annual funding agreements

If your project will run for more than one year, you’ll need to sign a new funding agreement each year. Ongoing funding will depend on you having successfully delivered your project deliverables for the previous year.

Reporting on your project’s progress

You will need to report on the progress of your project using WEKA, a web-based tool that allows you to report on the expenditure, progress against, and the achievement of, the outcomes for your project. Your funding agreement and WEKA will outline how often you will need to provide a progress report.

Grant payments

When you sign your funding agreement you will receive an initial grant payment.

At the time of submitting your WEKA reports you will also need to send us an invoice and a grant claim form that tells us what specific costs you will need funding for during the next period until your next report.

We will need to approve your WEKA report and grant claim form before your next progress payment is made.

Ongoing advice and assistance

We’ll keep in touch with you throughout the project to see how you’re going and you can always get in touch with your Enterprising Communities Advisor for advice or information.

Ending your grant

When your grant finishes you will need to complete a final report using WEKA. We may ask you to continue providing reports after your funding ends if your project will deliver further outcomes that we would like to measure. This will be covered in your funding agreement and your Enterprising Communities Advisor will explain why this is the case with your project.
