Employers On-Line release notes

This page contains the release notes for the Employers On-Line service for the upgrade occuring 10-11 April 2010.

Terms and Conditions

When entering the system for the first time after 12 April, you will be presented with a Terms and Conditions page.  You must accept the terms and conditions to gain access to the system.

Save a Candidate’s resume

When you select to view a candidate's resume, you will see that a Save icon now appears in the top right hand corner.

This will allow you to save the resume as an .htm file which you can later open with your web browser.

Print a Candidate’s resume

When you select to view a candidate's resume, you will see that a Print icon now appears in the top right hand corner.

Display the “Tools and Technology” rating in the search results instead of “Tags”

On the search results page, the following sections are displayed for each candidate:

  • Overall score
  • Location
  • Experience
  • Education
  • Tags

The "Tags" section will now be removed and replaced by a "Tools and Technology" section which will display for candidates who have rated their proficiency in the tool or technology at 3 out of 5 stars, or more.

A scroll bar will be added to the job title list

When entering a job title that has more than 10 matches it will now be possible to scroll through the list of matches to select the appropriate job title.

Capturing contact details when selecting to publish the vacancy to Job Bank

When the "Publish on Job Bank" option is selected in the Advanced Search Options, the system will now ask you to supply your contact details and advise how you would like the candidates to contact you.
