Labour Weekend
Work and Income payments including New Zealand Superannuation are being paid out four days earlier because of Labour Weekend.
People due to be paid on Tuesday 27th October 2009 will receive their payments on Saturday 24th Octover 2009.
These early payments are because Labour Day affects bank processing and we want to ensure that you get your payments by their due date.
We are closed on Labour Day
All our offices and contact centres will be closed on Labour Day, Monday 26th October.
