Holiday Payment Dates
14 December 2008
and some answers to common questions....
How will payment dates be affected by the holidays?
Some Work and Income payments are being paid out earlier because of the Christmas and New Year public holidays.
New Zealand Superannuation payment dates won't change.
Payments due to be paid on Thursday 25 December 2008 will be available on Wednesday 24th December 2008.
Payments due to be paid on Thursday 1 January 2009 will be available on Wednesday 31st December 2008.
These early payments are because Christmas and New Year affect bank processing and we want to make sure that you get your payments by their due date.
Payments due to be paid on other days are not affected.
When is Work and Income closed?
All Work and Income offices are closed on:
- Christmas Day, 25 December 2008
- Boxing Day, 26 December 2008
- New Years Day, 1 January 2009
- Friday 2 January 2009.
Work and Income’s normal operating hours apply on all other days.
