Our services
Kilbirnie Community Link will have services that meet the needs of families, individuals and the communities of Wellington's eastern suburbs.
With Newtown Community Link being close geographically and having similar service needs to Kilbirnie the community has opted for one Governance group for the two Community Links.

- Careers NZ - provides career information, advice and guidance
- Child, Youth and Family - provides support and protection for children, young people and their families
- Department of Building and Housing - provides tenancy advice and information, community education and liaison and mediation services for tenants and landlords
- Housing New Zealand Corporation - provides housing, home ownership loans and education for those on lower incomes
- Inland Revenue Department - provides information about Working for Families Tax Credit and Child Support
- Senior Services - supports older people through provision of financial assistance and connection to services, support and opportunities
- Supergrans - offers practical tuition in household management to enable people to work within their financial resources and improve outcomes for their family
- Wellington City Mission - supporting families and individuals with a range of services including foodbank, budgeting and social workers
- Work and Income - provides help to get a job and income support
- Workbridge - provides a professional employment service for people with disabilities, injury or illness
