Our services and partners

Highland Park Community Link is located in the shops behind the Highland Park cinema complex.

Highland Park Community Link partners include:

  • Age Concern – provides support for older people, and advocates on policy and issues relevant to older people and ageing
  • Auckland Regional Migrant Services – assists migrants and longer-term refugees with general settlement needs and pathways to employment
  • Child, Youth and Family – provides support and protection for children, young people and their families
  • Christians Against Poverty – provides budgeting services and ongoing money management courses for the community
  • Counties Manukau District Health Board – offers health advice and support, and facilitates health seminars for the community
  • Department of Corrections – address people’s bail conditions  
  • Housing New Zealand Corporation – provides housing, home ownership loans and education for those on lower incomes
  • Inland Revenue Department – provides information about Working for Families Tax Credit and Child Support
  • Framework Trust - Workfocus – offers a professional employment service for people with mental health disabilities
  • Ministry of Education – assists with information about education, and provides information and services for youth
  • New Zealand Police – provides support for community safety  
  • Pakuranga Citizen’s Advice Bureau – provides free advice on legal issues and other social matters
  • The Salvation Army, Howick – provides a range of support for the Howick and Pakuranga community, including budgeting services
  • SafeKids New Zealand – provides information, advice, links and resources relating to some of the more common unintentional injuries to children
  • Sower’s Trust (aka Harvest Community Care) – provides wraparound service for individuals and their family, especially for youth and sole parents and co-ordinating social services
